Wayne was the loving husband of the late Beverly A. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford (Lola) Hall, Oris (Carol) Hall, and Alvin Hall. Cosgrove was born April 24, 1946 at Chamberlain to Royal Cosgrove and Naomi (Ocheltree) Cosgrove. They returned to the Reliance, SD area where they farmed and ranched. He loved sharing his faith with others and attended the Assembly of God Church.
Wayne is survived by his son, Rod (Victoria) Hall; daughters, Rhonda (Brad) Veile and Marva (Jack) Putnam; brother Orville (Nila) Hall; and grandchildren, Sam Veile, Terry Veile, Jessica Hall, Keith Hall, Ryan Putnam, and Jake Putnam, and three great-grandchildren. Cosgrove, 72, of Reliance, SD were held at pm Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Water of Life Assembly of God Church in Chamberlain. He attended Cooper Country School and graduated in 1964 from Reliance High School. The foundation of his life was the love of his Lord, his family, and especially his wife Carolyn, who not only did he traverse his life with but the continental United States twice on bicycle.
On January 24, 1944, Della was united in marriage to John William Studt in Pierre.
They built a new home in Presho and moved to town in 1979.
After she started her family Della taught herself to sew and became an accomplished seamstress and quilter.
They enjoyed spending the winters in Arizona where they met many lifelong friends; and returning to Oacoma during the summer months.
Gratefully sharing in her life is her four children Dan (Merry) of Des Moines, IA, Greg (Debra) of Gillette, WY, Susan (Doug) Wittenhagen of Holdrege, NE and Mike (Michelle) of S.
She attended Dorman Country School north of Kennebec through the eighth grade and then Kennebec High School.
During high school, Della boarded in Kennebec and worked at various jobs around town.
From this union four children were born: Dan, Greg, Susan and Mike.
When Lorne retired in 1989; they traveled the United States with their camper visiting their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday from noon until pm at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain and resumes at the Zion Lutheran Church in Presho at pm with a prayer service at pm.
Della Mae Quillin was born May 30, 1928 to Joe and Leota (Gunn) Quillin.
Della enjoyed letter writing and touched everyone especially her family with her words of encouragement, wisdom, and love.
