La Alemana did a solo routine with Eddie Torres, Ataca has done a solo with Griselle Ponce and they have both performed as a couple with the world famous Yamulee at various congresses and events.
He started his dance professional career in 2006 and attributes to his family environment, his hard working ethics.
Tanja “La Alemana” Kensinger, originally born in Germany, immigrated to the United States by the way of the military in 1996.

Riceve gran parte dei suoi insegnamenti dal suo primo parnter di ballo, Nery Garcia, ma apprende velocemente come applicare queste sue conoscenze all’interno del ballo caraibico.
Tanja inizia ad insegnare in tutto il mondo dal 2006 ed è riconosciuta per l’energia ed il sorriso contagioso che sa trasmettere nelle sue classi.
Diventa anche la coproprietaria di una delle più rinomate scuole di ballo a Fort Mayers in Florida.
While working for a mortgage company, Jorge met Rudi Lopez (a.k.a. “One day, [Rudi] called me into his office and was like, ‘I’ve seen you grow into this very mature, high-level dancer. “[Jorge] found out that I was looking for a dance partner, he gave me a call, and that’s when we started talking,” Tanja recounted.
We actually first met Ataca y la Alemana (Jorge and Tanja) at the DC Bachata Congress in August 2009. This couple have become one of the most known Bachata performers and instructors in the world, with a busy traveling schedule that leaves them little time to be at home.
Together, Ataca and La Alemana have traveled the world performing and teaching at many Bachata and Salsa festivals.
